rooms, desk and stage

desk mode

the default on a computer: apps and threads on the left, the room in the middle, the conversation on the right. drag the two column handles to resize; double-click resets; arrow keys nudge.

stage mode

the room fills the page and the conversation floats over it. the expand button on the viewport enters it; esc leaves.

the controls over the scene

• C opens the sidechick selector.
• P takes her phone out (and puts it away).
• S opens the room wheel: fifteen selectable picture rooms, day and night. she comes with you.

on a phone

the room is the page and the conversation is a sheet you drag between peek, half and full. when the sheet covers her, the camera moves to her face. the her / chat switch in the sheet header turns the scene off entirely for a plain chat when you want one; the scene pauses while it is hidden.
